This
2-years-old male presented with a history of fever and redness,swell and
purulence in auricle of 3 days. He had a history of eczema and effusion from
auricle. His mastoid also turned red and painful while being touched. He was
diagnosed Festerd Tympanitis and mastoiditis in the Third People's Hospital of
Liaoyang. Because the child cried severly while IV droping before, his parents
took him to take Tuina massage. In TCM,this disease is mostly caused by upward
flowing and steaming of damp-heat from the liver and gallbladder. It's advisable
to remove the damp-heat of the liver and gallbladder. Selected points:Kneading
Xiaotianxin, Pushing-clearing Banmen, Pushing-reinforcing Kidney Water,
Push-clearing Tianheshui, Kneading Errenshangma, Parting-pushing yin,
Reverse-arc-pushing Neibagua, Pushing Sihengwen, Push-clearing Lung Metal,
Push-withdrawing Xialiufu, sometimes we selected Kneading Yiwofeng, Kneading
Yangchi. One day later the fever and redness, swell of ear were gone,the pus
became less. Four days later he resumed.
